V-Ray Rendering Plug-In for Rhino or Matrix
V-Ray was a professional rendering and visualization extension originally built for 3D Studio Max (one of the 3D tools of choice for movie-makers). The fact that it has quickly become an industry standard for architecture and industrial design says much about the photographic quality of the images produced by the renderer.
Even more is said by the fact that since Matrix has improved many of the gemstone and precious metal materials, all other software packages are now working hard to improve their rendering tools.
