Claytools (formerly known as Claytrix)

Originally developed for medical applications, Sensable Phantom Omni haptic device allows users literally move a pen around in the air, manipulating and carving into an object on the computer screen. What makes it so remarkable is the tool “feels” the surface when you touch it.

ClayTrix is the result of a partnership between Sensable and Gemvision. It combines Sensable ClayTools with Gemvision's own toolset to form the first haptic sculpture program designed specifically for jewellery and metalsmithing. It offers an affordable toolset focused on the needs of sculptors working with Rapid Prototyping.

We offer a 2-day intensive course in Claytrix, the equivalent of Gemvision's own ClayTrix Training, or Claytools upon request.
